What a great Tucson golf instructor should do
A good golf coach does three things well:
- Diagnose accurately — using video, ball flight, and an experienced eye, not guesses.
- Communicate clearly — turning swing mechanics into feels and drills you can actually repeat.
- Build a plan — not just one-off tips that contradict your last lesson.
That's the standard our coaches hold themselves to, and it's why our students stick with us for years.
How our lessons work
1. Initial assessment
We capture your swing on video, watch your ball flight, and ask about your goals, your schedule, and any past injuries. Within the first session, you'll have a clear picture of what to work on.
2. Custom improvement plan
We build a roadmap — usually 3 to 6 focus areas, prioritized. You'll know what each lesson is going to address before you arrive.
3. Practice you can actually do
You leave every lesson with 1–3 specific drills and a clear "feel" to chase. No vague homework.
Who we work with
We coach complete beginners who've never held a club, weekend golfers trying to break 90 or 80, juniors developing their game, and experienced players rebuilding after a swing change or injury.
Where to find us
We teach at the Del Lago Range in Vail, AZ — about 20 minutes from central Tucson. Convenient for east-side and southeast-Tucson residents.
